Gopogo

Gopogo is a 2D arcade platformer where you control a cute character who bounces on a pogo stick nonstop. Your aim is to complete the 40 different levels that make up this game while dodging obstacles and bad guys and collecting all the coins.

With the coins you get in each level you can later unlock new characters. There are more than 20 different ones in total. They are all controlled in the same way; their look is the only thing that changes.

The controls in Gopogo are pretty original: the most important thing is to calculate the exact pogo stick inclination needed. Depending on the inclination, your character will jump higher or lower and more or less to one side. Landing on moving platforms and dodging enemies is a real challenge in this game.

Gopogo is a good platform arcade that, like all games by Nitrome, offers charming retro-pixelated graphics. The soundtrack is brilliant, too: it was composed by Eirik Suhrke, who also did the sound for Super Crate Box and Ridiculous Fishing.
